How To Get Your Liquor Store On Google

Having your business on Google can increase your customer base tremendously. 

When someone looks for “liquor store” on their phone, computer, or google maps, your liquor store shows up as one of the results.

So what does this mean for your store? Well - if you’re not on Google yet, that means your local customers are finding your competition’s store and spending their money there!

No great things happen instantaneously, so be prepared for a good amount of time to pass before your store starts to show up in Google results. 

It may take a few months after doing this for you to show up as one of the top results in your area on Google, but trust me….IT’S WORTH IT.


***NOTE: Do not mistake this with creating an online store! Creating an online store, where you can sell your products online is more complicated.***


Getting your store to show up online, which I will explain here, is straight-forward.

Getting your liquor store on Google and Google Maps:

Search for "Google My Business" on Google.

Click “Manage Now” and go through everything accurately. 

Don't worry about adding photos right away you can always improve your Google My Business listing later.

*Photos are important so plan on adding many different types of photos. Especially photos that make your store look unique or inviting, photos of the staff, special events, etc.*

Once that is done and your location is verified by Google, your liquor store can start showing up on Google and Google Maps!

When your local customers are searching for booze online, your liquor store is 'competing' with other liquor stores who are also verified businesses for the top spot in Google Search.

You should focus on gaining customer feedback and improving on your business and your business listing!
